Guest bio:
Dr. Matt Capps serves as the Senior Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church in Apex, NC. He earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and M.Div. with Biblical Languages, from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fall 2008, and a D.Min. in Pastoral Theology from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Matt and Laura have been married since 2007 and have three children, Solomon, Ruby, and Abby.
Dr. Philip Nation serve as the pastor at First Baptist Church of Bradenton, Florida and frequently speak at churches and conferences. He earned a M.Div. from Beeson Divinity School and a D.Min. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He’s the author of Habits for Our Holiness and co-author of Compelled: Living the Mission of God and Transformational Discipleship: How People Really Grow. Philip and his wife Angie have two sons in college.
Dr. Keith Whitfield currently serves as the Dean of Graduate Studies and Vice-president of Academic Administration at Southeastern Baptist Theological seminary. He obtained his B.S. in Business from Clemson University, the M.Div., Th.M. degrees from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He’s the author of numerous scholarly articles, and author or co-author of several books. Keith and his wife Amy have two children and live outside Wake Forest, North Carolina.
