Wheaton College, an evangelical school outside Chicago, won a five-year court battle with the U.S. government in what supporters called a major pro-life victory.
On February 22, a district court judge ruled the government would violate federal civil rights laws if it forced Wheaton to provide services against the school’s religious beliefs, such as the week-after birth control pill in its health care plans.
