President Trump welcomes both the president of France and Germany to D.C. this week. Syria and North Korea are sure to be points of conversation when French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel visit with the Trump administration.

Cleveland is on the clock … as they have been for the better part of a decade. This year’s draft will take place in Dallas, Texas, at AT&T Stadium.
Marvel at the Box Office
Avengers: Infinity War drops this week and is expected to be the biggest box office hit since Black Panther earlier this year—another Marvel franchise. Facts & Trends online editor Aaron Earls will provide additional coverage later in the week in association with the movie.
Not Just Cookies Anymore
As announced last fall, the Boy Scouts of America began to admit girls into Cub Scouts this spring. The Washington Post reports the response has been overwhelming for the early entry program that includes more than 170 troops across the country. Expect discussions on gender and the scouting programs to continue this week.
Hybels Issues Revisited
More allegations surfaced last week to provide even more insight into the culture at Willow Creek under the leadership of Bill Hybels. The church has promised a more thorough and expedited investigation. One has to wonder if more allegations will continue to surface.
