As you evaluate ways to invest in women in your congregation, consider bringing digital events to ladies in your church.

As you reflect on your walk with Christ, what have been the milestones in developing your faith? What stands out? Do any of those moments include an event?
Whether it was VBS as a young child, youth camp as a teen, a collegiate ministry event as a student, or a conference as an adult, chances are your life has been marked by an event. We make many of the most important decisions in our spiritual journeys after attending a conference.
Lifeway Women events serve as spiritual milestones for many women who attend. It might be the refreshment she needed during a hard season, conviction of unconfessed sin, the push to fight for her marriage, the confirmation of a calling, or an understanding of the gospel for the first time. Whatever the season, the time women spend studying God’s Word and worshiping with sisters in Christ makes a difference in their lives.

Women can plan and host their own event or load up a bus and drive to a conference. However, sometimes attending an event in person isn’t an option. So, consider hosting a digital event in your own church. This entails showing the worship and teaching from an in-person Lifeway Women event featuring many of the women Bible teachers ladies in your church know and love.
Here are six reasons hosting a digital event would be a great investment in the women in your church.
1. Digital events create momentum
Whether you recently launched your women’s ministry or it’s been going strong for many years, hosting a digital event can be a great way to create momentum for your ministry. The buzz of a new event coupled with the opportunities to lead and serve get women excited about what’s happening in the ministry as they look for ways to get plugged in.
2. Digital events build leaders
Lifeway’s digital events are designed with simplicity in mind. We provide everything you need to plan, promote, and host the event. The only thing we can’t provide is the leaders to carry it out at your church. Hosting a digital event is a fantastic opportunity to invest in a budding leader, challenge a seasoned leader, or develop a team of leaders that will continue to steward your ministry long after the event is over.
3. Digital events cultivate cross-generational friendships
One of the beautiful things about digital events is that they draw women from across generational lines. Whether women make a friend on the planning team or sit next to a new friend at the event, we hear many stories about how digital events provide opportunities for women to cultivate new friendships and develop priceless discipleship relationships.
4. Digital events unite your community
Digital events are a great way to unite and engage with your community. Lifeway Women provides hosts with numerous ideas on how to think outside the walls of their churches and invite those from neighboring congregations. We encourage church hosts to include those who aren’t connected to a local church and those who don’t have a relationship with the Lord yet. We even provide customizable promotional tools to get the word out.
5. Digital events save on expenses
Hosting your own event can be costly. Booking a speaker and/or worship team and paying their honorarium and travel can certainly put a strain on the budget. Lifeway digital events help churches save on event expenses by providing an entire event experience with a trusted, well-known teacher, dynamic worship leaders, and tools to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. The flat fee allows for an unlimited number of in-person participants as well as the added benefit of no surprises hitting your event budget.
6. Digital events provide spiritual refreshment
Something special happens when sisters in Christ come together in unity to worship and study God’s Word together. The opportunity to be around others who are facing many of the same trials, have overcome similar struggles, and are passionate about pursuing Christ together makes for a powerful time of spiritual refreshment.
