Millennials No Longer Headed to the Chapel

Secular weddings are on the rise among younger Americans. City hall weddings have nearly doubled in Manhattan since 2008, according to The New York Times.

Nationwide, fewer than half of millennial weddings take place in a church or other place of worship. By contrast, two-thirds of older Americans were married in church.
