Lifeway began publishing Facts & Trends in January 1957. It is a quarterly magazine “designed to help pastors and other Christian leaders navigate the issues and trends impacting the church by providing information, insights, and resources for effective ministry.” With a hard-copy circulation of 70,000, Facts & Trends lands on the desks of pastors, other church leaders, and denominational employees in the Southern Baptist Convention and other Christiana denominations.
In 2013, Lifeway launched FactsandTrends.net the online home of Facts & Trends. Much of the print edition could be found online there.
In February of this year, Facts & Trends took a major leap forward with breaking news articles and current event coverage. A team of writers including Joy Allmond, Aaron Earls (also the online editor), veteran religion-reporter Bob Smietana, and Aaron Wilson provide stellar coverage to stories of interest to church leaders. Between 3 – 5 stories are published online each day.
This month, Facts & Trends revamped their email blast. The Daily Insights email brings fresh content addressing current topics and breaking news directly to your inbox.
Daily Insights includes informative and engaging videos and podcasts that capture conversations with leading ministry experts who tackle the topics affecting you in the home, the workplace, the campus, and the public square.
